New Programme Assistant joined the AEWA Secretariat

The AEWA Secretariat is pleased to announce the recruitment of Ms. Birgit Drerup as part-time Programme Assistant on a consultancy basis. Birgit is supporting the Coordinator of the African Initiative as well as the Programme Officer.

Birgit is of German nationality and holds a B.A. in English and French and a Master’s degree in British Studies. Her previous professional experience includes a research position at a British newspaper where she supported the Germany correspondent. She has also worked as an editorial assistant in a PR and events agency.

Along with her mother tongue (German), Birgit speaks English, French and Italian.

The AEWA Secretariat is happy to welcome Birgit as a new colleague here in Bonn.
